Rejection

I was fairly happy with the life I lived.
I had never known what it was like to lie, or be lied to.
I had never been so alone when so many were near.
I was young and innocent and then I wasn't.
From one day to another things changed, or so it seem.
Because maybe things had been changing all along and I just didn't realize it.
