Amid chaos that marks Voldemort's return and fighting to survive, obviously it evaded all rationale: they could never not stand on the opposite sides. It would mean letting go of his legacy, beliefs and all that made him great in his eyes while she could barely like somebody who mocked her very existence in the wizarding world.
