This is a story that is about a 15 year old girl named Katelyn whose family is murdered and she has to escape the part of New York she lived in. She finds herself in another part of New York and decides to make a new life. She finds out that her ten year old sister is alive and that a lady named Kimmie wants to adopt her and her sister.

She goes to a new school and makes two new friends Ashley and Ben. She has a crush on Tyler a football jock. But what she doesn't know is that her new friend Ben had a crush on her.
