Chapter 1

A tumbleweed blowing through the wind in the midst of an apocalypse. No one found. No one here. Lost in the fog, no breaths can be felt. Slow steps, each more cautious than the last. A winter's cold that bites your toes, feeling pain then nothing at all. Heavy hearts and heavy souls, a pain to breathe and a pain to walk. Held underwater, not suffocating, not breathing. Lost in the heavy clouds, looking for somebody. Anybody. Help me.
