Chapter One

Wendy didn't have a life. Well, not one that existed outside her four bedroom walls at least.

Which is exactly why her mother sets her up with a pen pal - one that lives in Middle of Nowhere, Alaska.

Realizing she wouldn't win, Wendy decides to make the first move and writes the most sarcastic, annoyed and short letter she could muster. She smiled sweetly as she gave it to her mother for the post.

When nothing came for her in weeks, the secret joy she felt over losing the battle, but winning the war was insurmountable. Well, until a letter came for her.
