Prologue - A/N

Her name is Chris Laurens. His is Joshua Smith. When Josh moves to Egerton High School, he doesn't pay any attention to Chris, and she doesn't pay any attention to him. But one day when the two are partnered for an English assignment, he notices a dark message in her notebook. From then on, Josh makes it his mission to save her. Much to Chris' dismay, he wriggles his way into her life. When Chris reaches her lowest, she decides to end it. End the pain, the hate, everything. Can Josh complete his mission and save her?
