Prologue

300 years ago, Elijah and Klaus made a deal. Every time Elijah 'mysteriously disappeared' Lucy would become Klaus's 'little slave girl' merely for her protection. At least thats what they see it as, Lucy sees it as a death sentence. When Elijah was daggered by his own brother Lucy was by Klaus's side at all times. When Klaus disappears she learns how hard it is to be independent.
