Hybrids are crosses between species. They are abominations simply because they shouldn't exist. it isn't supposed to be biologically possible. At least, that's what everyone believed until Sophie.

Forced on the run after the death of her parents, all Sophie wants is some peace. That doesn't happen when she's attacked and attracts the attention and obsession of the local Covenant Leader of the town she's settled in to.

Sophie holds the key to much more than anyone believes and when a conspiracy comes to light regarding the Elders, she'll have to rely on her friends and try not to fall for the Covenant Leader
