Act One

In the late 1700's the Cherokee Hickory Tribe of Kentucky was known to be a group of focused and steady hunters, a people of fair trade and native leaders whose pride was based on generosity, grace, respect for the land and all of it's neighbors. Ayita the youngest of her siblings often felt unimportant and left out but all that would change one day as she carried her sad heart down to the river bank, where Ayita meets a new friend. This is a story of friendship, spirit of the young, putting differences aside and most of all when life gives you storms the best way to get through it is take your best friend's hand and learn how to dance in the rain.
