Chapter One

In a church located in the small village of Echols, I found him. So he was the one those soldiers were looking for. His eyes looked fearful as he clutched the rosary that hung loosely around his slim neck.

I smiled and stepped closer. "Don't worry...this is a place of sanctuary, you are safe."
