Prologue

Margret O-Quail is a lady in waiting/bestfriend to the princess. As young girls they would play with two boy nights, Joshua and William. Both boys princes of small parts of the country.

As she gets older she starts to fall for William. But there are rules, rules that state that a royal/noble may not marry anyone lower than their rank. Meaning that Margret, being the daughter of a merchant, could never be with William.
