Thursday after school, fate came knocking on Max's door. Or, rather, honking loudly outside of it. A hero's call to action usually has some epic music, maybe a catchy sing-a-long song with explosions, dramatic lighting, and a slo-mo background (for some extra heroic flare, of course) That wasn't the case for Max. He didn't get a catchy song, an epic self-realization monologue, or some tearful, cheesy goodbye to the world. His gigantic plot twist was spent knocked out on the floor from pain, and his Destiny took the form of an ugly yellow school bus. ~ In which Maximus Cipriano, a 16-year-old boy diagnosed with severe ADHD & Involuntary Movement Disorder, has his life flipped upside down. No longer does he live with his family in modern suburbia, but at a new home called Ridge View Academy: A government funded boarding school designed to teach students with mental disorders. Although, this education doesn't come with a degree. It comes with intensive training and taking high-risk missions to save the world from "Unidentified Beings".
