Everyone thinks I'm dead, but in reality I'm just as alive as they are. Well, except for the part where I'm a witch, and powerful one. The Beast took me and tried enslaved me, I escaped but I wasn't in my body, it looked like committed suicide, but I didn't, I'm trying to go back, and the only person that can help me is Quentin. Jinx Marry James has been Quentin's best friend since dippers, well she's a year younger then him but is more intelligent, at least magic wise, she was excepted into Brakebills 2 years before him she has had to keep it a secret from him, it killed her. She also knows that Fillery is real, when Quentin finds out when he's excepted into Brakebills, he is furious and stops talking to her, it killed her even more, he was forced to talk to her again when the Trials started. At the end of them Quentin hooked up with Alice and that starts her depression. To make matters worse she can read minds but is also a physical, so she can read everything Quentin thinks, all he does is think about is Alice.
