I guess it just shows that Fate likes to mess you up. Make you happy, then take all that happiness away from you. You work to get it back, even if it wasn't like before, and then she throws you a curveball. A plot twist. A twist of fate. And suddenly everything comes crashing back down, and you find yourself at square one once again.
