Chaos erupts in Kaijo High.

Transfer student Suzuki Mari completely messes up her first day of school. It takes just one accident to earn the ridiculous nickname, "The Crazy American."

Wait, what? How? Why? It's all because of an out-of-order vending machine and the model-basketball-player-extraordinaire Kise Ryouta.

Mari's determined to clear her name and the only way to do that is to have Kise help her. Unfortunately, he doesn't care enough since the Interhigh Tournament is rolling around. But boy was he wrong for thinking he could sweep her under the rug like that.
