Prologue

Lyra always knew she didn't fit in, at school or at home. Her parents loved her, and gave her what ever she wanted and more. Unlike her older brother she wasn't a bully, arrogant, and didn't have a lot of friends. Even though her parents wanted her to be the best, when they are going to send her to boarding school, she receives a letter excepting her at a different school, one that her cousin was attending. She was small for her age, a red haired, green eyed, 11 year old girl. She was a dancer, she had won many crowns and trophies, by that wasn't her main priority.

Her main priority was keeping her family oblivious to what was going on at her boarding school.
