Fourteen-year-old Horizon was scarred when she witnessed the murder of her oldest brother, Jasper, soon after her ninth birthday. She decided to run away, and she's been living on the streets of Ohio ever sinse. She's not alone, though; shortly after she begins life on the streets, she meets Jet, a boy her age also escaping the home life.
