As the teacher passes out everyone's tests, he places the last one on the desk in front of me. I glance down, a 66% in bold red ink staring me in the face. "ugh, not again.." I mumble to myself. I rub my eyes, hoping when I reopen them the grade will be different. Nope. Still a 66. Dammit. "I'd like to see you after class, Carlie." Mr. Lancaster says. The bell rings and everyone dashes out of the room. I stand up, books in my arms, and walk over to his desk. "Carlie, you're an intelligent girl with a bright future. I don't understand how you keep getting 60's on tests." "I'm sorry. I studied, I really did. I thought I understood the material....I'll study harder next time!" I smile, heading out the door. "Not so fast. I thought it would be best to get you a tutor..so I asked around and found you one. You may know him, he sits in the front of the class, has glasses." I knew exactly who he was referring to....
