It was Tate and his father against the world after the loss of his mother, but Tate wasn't too pleased with living with him after two months. With alcohol in his veins and lust in his eyes, he gave up hope on everything and everyone.

When Tate visited his mother's grave one day, he met a boy around his age, telling the history of the trees in the cemetery. Tate thought the boy, Oakley, was simply eccentric, but something was different, maybe even magical, about him.
