Leave it to the next-in-line-alpha werewolf to be bossy and stubborn. I sighed. "It's not the whole mate idea that bothers me. We're just too different. I mean, I'm fifteen and you're ten."

Khan waved away my words with a dismissive hand and rolled his eyes. "Don't worry, it doesn't bother me that you're old."

"OW! Mommy, Maddy hit me!"

"Sorry, it's the old restless leg acting up. Things just don't work as well when your as old as I am." I stated dryly. The Luna snickered.
