Lazy and basically apathetic, a young prince named Kuro and his six siblings, servants and castle are put under a spell by a wicked enchantress who turns Kuro and his siblings into seven animals and their servants into inanimate objects. Until Kuro loves and is loved in return, the spell will be broken. But he must do this before the last rose petal falls or else...

Then the high strong, simple minded boy, Mahiru Shirota enters the castle, after his uncle is imprisoned by one of Kuro's siblings.

With the help of the servants and siblings, Mahiru begins to change the lazy, apathetic Prince into a more lively and less lazy....
