Description
She laid on the cold pavement, pieces of broken glass and metal surrounding her. A gash swept down from her forehead, and made its way down her cheek, the blood dripping and mixing with her pale blonde hair. Her once red lips barely pink, parted, her hazel eyes closed. Her fingertips cold, barely touching a piece of what once was a car. Time had stopped since the accident. Nobody involved moving an inch from where they landed after the impact. Sirens still rang from a distance, help coming their way. But nobody moved. His skin still had color to it, the red tint to his pale cheeks and hands still lingering. The car covered most of his body, crushing his legs and chest. His blond hair had turned bloody, the gash from where his head bounced off the dashboard being his only major wound. Help arrived quickly, the EMTs rushing to save the girl. Her heart rate and breathing had almost stopped, and time was running out. She had lost too much blood for them to be successful. Or so they thought.
