Athena Thomas has been gone for nearly two years. When her and Dick Grayson last saw each other, she was leaving and taking his heart with her. But what happens when she comes back? And where did all those fresh scars come from?

While the two struggle with trusting each other again, there is a new "villain" in town. A man by the name of Red Hood is killing and blowing up mobs and gangsters in Gotham. However, when Athena decides to work with the new guy, things get complicated.

Can Dick ever trust Athena again, especially when she is siding with his enemy?
