Chapter One - Shadow

Rosa has always been able to see Shadows - grey, human-shaped, silent beings, who are invisible to everyone except her. She's always wanted to talk to them, and when she finally manages to communicate with one, she's overjoyed. She struggles to keep the secret of the Shadows from Steven, a close friend.
Her heart interjects into both friendships, complicating both, and when both Shadow and Steven show their affection for her, she struggles to make a choice between the two. Steven discovering her secret only complicates things... can she keep it together for the two boys she loves?
