Christina Matthews is an entitled 17 year old girl with a brilliant tech wiz for a father and an inexplicably fashionable art mogul for a mother. She can't stand her parents or their ideals, and often finds herself wishing to be someone else. They press her about her work, her social life, and even her romantic life to the point where she isn't quite sure who's in control anymore. It isn't until she meets Spencer, a waiter in an increasingly popular catering company, that she decides to abandon her parents wishes and follow her own happiness. But her happiness is extremely short-lived when other forces in her life decide they will stop at nothing to tear her happiness apart.
