Prologue

Apples have been responsible for some of the greatest curses throughout history. Remember fair Snow White, so pale and cold in her coffin? Remember Eve, banished from paradise into the harsh and desolate human world? Apples are the fruit of knowledge, so take heed and beware the curse of apples.

Apple has always been proud to be named after her ancient family tradition of harvesting magical apples, but when she encounters a boy trying to steal from the Tree of Purity he leads her to one of the most sacred creatures on earth, a unicorn, and with it, a curse that will guide her to her destiny.
