Azure is a plain water pixie, hair that descends just past her shoulders, plain blue eyes, and sharp, pointy ears. She's not noticed much, except by her grandmother.

"You're too tall!" "Too thin!" "Too pale!" She's not much, and never gets noticed by any male pixies.

Celestia is certainly unique, a rare type of pixie, a sky pixie. She's one of the last of her kind, and spends her time in the High Grasslands, until she meets Azure.
