"Humpty Dumpty sat on the wall, Humpty Dumpty had a great fall. All the king's horses and all the king's men, couldn't put Humpty together again."

And so it begins. Second-in-command to the queen bee Chloe Collins, Erin Sanders seems to have it all: The looks, the wits, almost the entire student body falling down on her feet, and the attitude-or so she thought. In comes Chloe and Erin's alternate-and rivalry-duo: The devastatingly handsome, athletic and rebellious Kent O'Conell and Jason Matthews. Chloe hated Kent ever since he insulted her bright yellow dress by saying that it looked like someone had vomited on her-on the first day of kindergarten. So it's only practical that Erin hated Jason as well.

But what happens when one day, Chloe and Kent shockingly announces to the whole student body about their secret relationship-all of which Erin never knew about. Forced to seek refuge to the only other person who's been left out cold by this secret, Erin and Jason work together to get to the bottom of their best friends' mystery, and may end up tearing down their own reputations in the process.

Historical field trips. Spying at the carnival. One very big exploding burrito. Secret classroom meetings. And two very, very stubborn teenagers who will stop at nothing to get everything back to normal-but is normal even worth it?

Because when Humpty Dumpty thought that he could climb the wall, he fell.

And with these two, it's only a matter of time before they all fall down.
