Cassia Vindette is a citizen of Panem's so called 'Talent District' One of the bright yet flawed gems in the Capital's crown. Their main export is their citizens, that is, those with enough beauty and talent, they serve as the districts main export. They are bid on and brought to the capital to become idols, models, or, in the lower levels of the capital underground, sex slaves. Everyone dreams of being one of the lucky ones, living as a capital lap dog, everyone except Cassia. All she wants is to stay with her sister and protect her from the corruption of their district, and do everything she can to keep her out of the annual Hunger Games when it's time to pick names from the pool of 'Talentless' like her sister living on the outskirts of the district.
