Some would call them companions or spirit animals. I call them Warriors and their human, Tattooed warriors. Kira has always loved her woods in her backyard, they call to her, but she is never allowed to go into the woods. Her mother forbids it and no one else is allowed in except her parents. Throughout the world, Irois trees have been burned or cut down. 17 year olds from around Meazza (or humans call it Earth), her planet, are not getting Irois, a special nectar that lets you have an animal spirit. The creators of her planet made a rash decision and opened up the portal from Kira's world to the strange world of humans. Kira has grown up without the memory of what her world used to be since. She decides to go out into her family's forbidden woods one day, but finds something she's not expecting to find there. What will she find?
