On their search, they come across Amy, who is more than willing to join their happy search party. Sonic tries to get her to stay behind, but she's relentless and follows them. As they set off to find the emeralds, Sonic and his friends have to face a few battles and trails.

Will Sonic be able to protect his friends? Or is it himself that needs protecting?
