Author's Notes

The distant continent of Pais is a war driven world that has recently established a ceasefire among its neighboring kingdoms. One of the main arbiters in the peace negotiations is a group known throughout the land as the Order, comprised of mages. One gifted mage, a psychic known as Ivan, has reached the coming of age and is set to embark on a journey with a questionable master. With Pais littered with thieves, smugglers, and mercenaries, Ivan must learn to adapt and quickly if he is to survive this odd apprenticeship.
