Despite that, Red's dreams were filled with becoming a legendary Pokémon trainer. Growing up in Pallet Town, Red was surrounded by trainers who went on to achieve greatness. It became his goal to set out on an adventure on his twelfth birthday. When that birthday came, it was time to get his partner Pokémon and take on the Kanto Region. With famous trainers taking on the Kanto Gym Challenge, there was no better time to set out on an adventure. Team Rocket looms in the background, growing stronger with each day.
