Chapter one: Wolves

My mum turned to me, her eyes a piercing yellow. Her brown fur tensed, making her look like she was afraid of me. "Get back inside." She spoke, sitting down by my father. "What if I say no?" I questioned, testing their patiences. My father walked closer, His black fur that was turning grey, tensed. He growled louder, eyes on me like daggers. "Get. Inside. Now." I quickly nodded my head, racing to get back upstairs. Slamming my bedroom door shut, I laid down on my bed and sighed closing my heavy eyelids. Why did I, Avery Moon, have to be a part of a family of wolves.
