After experiencing heartbreak and betrayal, Sharon Ashwood runs to New York, trying to get as far from it as possible. However, instead of the solitude she wanted, she soon found herself getting a new roommate in the form of her brother-in-law's best friend, Cameron Ballard.

Giant's injured quarterback, Cameron Ballard, had planned to stay for a few days in his friend's apartment while he tried to get the paparazzis off his back. But, upon meeting Sharon, he becomes involved with getting her set up in New York and begins to fall for her.
