Description
Humans are imperfect beings. They have many flaws and many virtues. They are capable of both terrible and beautiful things. Everything they are, everything they've done... it all lies within. All her life, Emily has been able to sense what the people around her were feeling, but she never thought much of it because it felt normal to her. When Emily comes back home after graduating from college, she expects to find a job and begin building her life as a proper adult. But everything takes an unexpected turn when she rescues a man being held prisoner by a scientist in an abandoned hospital building. Emily decides to help John find out the reason behind his kidnapping and will have to suffer the consequences as they have to start running and hiding to stay alive. She quickly realizes there's something unusual about this guy, something her rational mind was trying to conceal from her like it had always done with her sensitive perception of the people around her. It might just be something that shifts the very trajectory of her life. The lines between good and evil and life and death are thin and blurry. Nothing seems impossible anymore. If she wants to live through this, Emily will have to face challenges that will test her strength and determine the rest of her life.
