In a world where peace is fragile and magic is just a whisper of a long-forgotten past, Thyria Malvern, the youngest of the Malvern bloodline, finds herself caught between the two.

Bound by treaty, a Malvern is forced to pledge their hand in matrimony to a former enemy. However, lives are turned completely upside-down when unexpected guests arrive turning the annual treaty celebrations into a bloodbath.
