Running. Four hearts pounding, but for how long? Dodging trees, the four of us ran faster. As fast as our feet could carry us, it wasn't fast enough. I could see the red and blue lights behind us. Noah was ahead of the rest of us, with Kai close behind. Tessa and I were close to them, but gave the others a head start for safety.
