Prologue

"But for real though these boys are blowing me! You know what!! I'm turning gay from this moment on!" Vanessa declares loud and clear in our Algebra 2 class.

"You heard that AJ?" Phillip says with a smile.

"Yeah if she legit does turn gay then I'm turning straight ," I say half joking and half serious.

It was in that moment, that I knew what my New Year's resolution will be for 2017.
