Title self explanatory. Some of these are AUs. I am writing these for fun, but also because I want to become better in the art of creative writing. That being said, any constructive criticism is welcome and greatly appreciated! TABLE OF CONTENTS 1. To Fulfill a Promise. An AU where Legolas visits the Glittering Caves Alone. 2. A Letter Thranduil receives a letter sometime after Legolas departs to Imladris to inform them of Gollum's escape. 3. Whispers The ring calls to Boromir. 4. In a Foul Place (Part 1 and 2) After a skirmish with a pack of Orcs, Legolas and his unit are caught off guard and outnumbered. 5. Namárië After Aragorn's passing, there is still one other Legolas wants to say farewell to before he and Gimli depart across the sea. 6. Lost Soldiers and a Little Wine Thranduil and his wife help their son, Legolas, come to terms with those he has lost after a battle. 7. To the Sea When King Elessar receives a letter from Faramir, he must rush to the ocean in an attempt to wake the former Prince of Mirkwood from his Sea Longing. 8. Heart of a Soldier After an unexpected spider attack goes ill, Thaladir must do everything in his waning power to get the king's son back to the stronghold alive. (The story of how my OC and Legolas became friends) 9. A Mother's Burden When Estel comes home to visit, Gilraen ponders the dangers her son faces. 10. Through Windows to find Cradles A wood elf encounters Gollum. 11. Maybe They Had Won A year after the desolation of Smaug, Legolas has a hard time believing the shadow has truly lifted from the forest. 12. In the Aftermath Legolas must wait for aid in the aftermath of a battle. TBC Side note: I probably won't do any romance but if I do, there won't be any mature content.
