Why does it hurt so much when you're called ugly and fat? Why do words seem to hurt us? They're just words, after all.

Not for Andrea Quiller. Her bully Adam Davies and his little posse march around the school acting like saints, but the moment they see her, they turn into vicious monsters and call her names, punch her, kick her, and beat her. Her home life isn't so well either. Her parents abuse her as well verbally and physically.
