Slowly walking to the nest I nervously hugged my body, scared I would choose wrong. How will I know? I thought. Placing a hand on one of the eggs I gently caressed it careful to not harm it. How will I know? Just then I felt strong pull behind me. Turning around I walked towards it feeling myself being drawn. In my ears I could hear a quiet melody, as if saying 'this is the one'. Her laugh is beautiful. "I've waited a thousand years to hear your thoughts." Her voice reminded me of a calm valley, hearing birds at play, and a soft river flowing. She gave me such peace.
