Edward Elric x Reader (Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood) Alchemy, the science of understanding, deconstructing, and reconstructing matter. However, it is not an all powerful force, it is impossible to create something out of nothing; if one wishes to obtain something, something of equal value must be given. This is the law of Equivalent Exchange, the basis of all alchemy. In accordance with this law, there is a taboo among alchemists: Human Transmutation is strictly forbidden, for what could equal the value of a human soul. Y/n L/n, a childhood friend of the Elric brothers. She had always looked up to them and they took her in like family, considering her parents were nowhere to be found. They taught her alchemy and grew up together, even though she was half Ishvalan. Everything was perfect...until Trisha passed away. From then on the brothers grew distant towards her, claiming that they are going to do something great, and when you finally see what they meant, it was too late. Believing that it was her fault because she wasn't there enough for them, y/n ran away, hoping to start a new life. Years passed and now she is 15, living in Central with a nice family. But what will happen when she unexpectedly reunites with the brothers and asks to join them? Will she go with him? And what major changes will happen along the way to getting Ed and Al their bodies back, especially between her and Edward? Added on story line. I do not own Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood.
