Set in the Dawnhammer Universe, Mirradex "Dex" McKinzie is a one-man, deep-space, rescue operation. Kind of.

Equipped with a sharp wit, enough weaponry to wage a small scale war, and an imaginary friend named Shift; Dex will have to race against time to save the crew of the research vessel "Faust".
