Violet Hours chapters 1&2

Raven and her brother, Kyler, have been sent to stay at their grandmother's tobacco farm for the summer after Raven seems to not be able to cope with her life after the disappearance of teenagers in her home town of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina including her boyfriend, Dustin. Dustin is having trouble adapting to his new life as a vampire, but now he has also learned from his makers, Castillo and Natasha, that he and the other new vampires have been created to kill the slayer that is set to be reborn in just a few short months. Both Raven and Dustin are determined to be strong no matter what fate has in store for them, but when fate throws them into a battle as enemies will they truly be able to kill on another?
