Chapter 1 Wakey Wakey!

“Ada don’t!” I hear Evelyn yell at me as I send my most powerful element, spirit, at Gage. At the same moment, something inside me… shattered. My soul, my entire being, feels as if it’s being ripped away from my body. I cry out in pain before slumping against the railing. I feel air rushing towards me as I plummet down towards the churning sea below me before everything turns black and the pain lessens. My soul has just been shattered.
