Carter Johnson is battling many things and she is battles her forceful abusive father her depression and her bullies. She feels as if she can't open up. She won't let anybody in and she doesn't want anyone to know about anything. Carter's family left her with her father after telling her that they would could back when they could. They never did. She doesn't remember her family anymore. All she remembers about them is that they lied to her. But what will she do about it? Will she change? Or will she stay the same?
