Chapter 1

Shift is a supervillain. She considers herself evil, but her villainy is put to the test when a bird with a broken wing shows up at her front door.

Technically....
His name is Phoenix.
Shift met him when she crashed into him on her hoverboard.
She doesn't have a front door.

Phoenix is a superhero. Well, a superhero in training. With his messed up wings he doesn't think he will ever be good enough to be a hero. When he is attacked by a group that call themselves the Villain Alliance he accidentally burns down the superhero headquarters. He is wrongly convicted and becomes a wanted criminal hiding from heroes.

Basically, everyone either wants him dead or behind bars. Except for Shift. What will happen when these two meet?
