Description
Naomi lives in a nomadic village in the eastern side of Africa during the late 19th century. She lives with her family, which consists of thirteen siblings, and both of her parents. At these times, the men are the providers and the women, the ones who stay at home. But things change after a breaking news. While Naomi sets out on a trek in a garden further out from her village, she unexpectedly sees a strange looking man. His skin was much paler than hers, his hair was golden and his eyes, Crystal blue. What happens when they get to know each other, especially with their different cultures and lifestyles? Is it permissible? And what if a little love blossoms? Does love really conquer all? The foreign Language that will be used every now and then in the story is called Swahili. It is mainly spoken in the eastern countries of Africa. Which is also where I am from (Kenya).
