Introduction

They stopped in the darkest part of the woods. That didn't bother Ash, to her this was the only place she could think. She started to cry by an old Redwood tree. When she touched it, the tree turned to ash and the ash smeared on her face disappeared. Then a cyclone of ashes whirred around her, once they were gone she noticed a cloak around her shoulders. This wasn't any ordinary cloak, it was one made from the ashes. She noticed the ashes were still smoking and buzzing with sparks of flames, if any ordinary person touched this they would burn, but Ash felt nothing.
